Construction of Civita Park is proceeding beautifully. A recent hardhat tour of the park showed great progress. Mark Radelow, vice president/senior project manager for Sudberry Properties reports that construction of all of the hardscape (walkways, plazas, basketball halfcourt, picnic area, amphitheater seating, etc.) is complete. The top for the amphitheater’s stage has been delivered and will be installed soon. Tables and furniture are positioned under Civita Park’s unique and (eventually) vine-covered shade structures.
The landscaping team has started planting in some areas of the park. In spite of the weather, dozens of rose bushes are in bloom.
This week’s six days of rain will undoubtedly affect the landscaping schedule, but we’re still planning to hold Arbor Day festivities in Civita Park at the end of April.
After sweeping local and regional architectural awards for multifamily communities, Sudberry Properties’ West Park at Civita was honored with one of the nation’s top architectural awards: the Gold Award for Best Architectural Design of an Attached Community” at The Nationals, a competition sponsored by The National Association of Home Builders and presented at the organization’s 2017 convention in Orlando, Florida, in January.
