Relay For Life Raises $13,500 for the American Cancer Society

For the second year, Civita was the site of the Relay For Life of Mission Valley, which raised $13,500 for American Cancer Society services for patients and cancer research. For 18 hours ten teams with a total of 50 participants camped out together and took turns walking laps around the temporary park. Lots of Civita residents turned out to cheer on the participants and enjoy the entertainment and camaraderie among people of all ages.

“Our original goal was $5,000, so you can see we more than doubled our goal,”
